The National Municipal Stormwater Alliance (NMSA) sent a letter to President Biden on January 20, 2021 to congratulate him and his victor as well as to compel his administration to work with organizations like NMSA to address the many environmental challenges facing our country today, including the impacts of urban runoff, which is the the most significant growing source of water pollution across much of the country today. With an eye on flooding problems, declining urban water quality, and aging infrastructure, NMSA urges the Biden administration to consider the MS4 sector when considering an infrastructure package to help America recover from the impacts of COVID as well as support our crumbling infrastructure.
